Everything I make comes back to the same thing: story.
A candle isn't just a scent, it comes with a tale from Mossvale, recorded and tucked inside. A book isn't just something to read, it's a door into a world I've been building for a good while. The Storywood isn't a content library, it's a place to listen, to slow down, to let a story do what only stories can.
All of it is folklore-inspired. All of it is built to invoke enchantment, nature connection, and a sense of the seasons turning around you.
An invitation to notice the magic that's been there all along, to slow down enough to actually see it.
Because stories don't just entertain, they open something. They weave a little wisdom in without you noticing, and leave you a touch more alive,
a touch more open to wonder, than you were before you pressed play or turned the page.

I'm Kayleigh. Writer, author, and a wholehearted believer that story is one of the oldest and truest ways we understand ourselves and the world around us.
I write because I believe enchantment is the missing piece, the thing that changes how everything else feels. I've spent years gathering folklore, nature wisdom and the old ways of paying attention, weaving them into stories & reflections you can read, listen to, and live alongside.
Mossvale is the world Through the Hedge grows from, and where The Storywood and the candles carry their stories too. Small Enchantments comes from closer to home, the real, ordinary world & all the magic hiding inside it.
